  Hank Riner

Hank Riner
Chief Executive Officer

Hank Riner is the chief executive officer and is responsible for guiding the company towards new growth initiatives. With 30 years of experience in marketing and business outsourcing services, he maintains a focus on customer satisfaction as well as finding solutions through technology.

Previously, Riner spent three years as the CEO of CoAMS Inc. and was instrumental in the creation of an online tracking tool to help channel marketers analyze their trade spending. Before his time with CoAMS, Riner was CEO of SourceLink, the fifth largest direct marketing services provider in North America. While there, he designed the first online campaign planner and worked on campaigns for companies including BMW, Sears, Siemens and Bank of America. In 1995, while CEO of UMI, he built and launched ProQuest, the first search engine on the internet which won the company the Smithsonian Product of the Year award.

Riner received a BA and an MBA in Marketing from Temple University.

 

Kent Herring

Kent Herring
Chief Financial Officer

Kent Herring serves as chief financial officer and is responsible for the finance, accounting and human resource functions. His function is to provide leadership to support the company’s multiple growth initiatives.

He joined the company in 2008, bringing 20 years of developing, growing and managing divisions within the healthcare industry. Previously, Herring was the chief financial officer at Lakewood Pathology Associates, Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of financial management, billing, IT, HR and general administration.

In addition, he spent several years honing his skills at Laboratory Corporation of America, where he was the senior vice president for their Northeast division, the second largest operating unit of LabCorp, a publicly traded S&P 500 Company in the clinical laboratory diagnostic testing sector.

Herring holds his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Villanova University.

 

Ron Whaley

Ron Whaley
Chief Revenue Officer

Ron Whaley is the chief revenue officer for OSG Billing Services. Whaley joined the company in 1998, bringing an extensive knowledge of the bill presentment and telecommunications industry.

He is responsible for spearheading the growth of the organization and overseeing sales opportunities. With a strong knowledge of the industry and his expertise in managing relationships, Whaley continues to steer the initiatives that keep OSG Billing Services a leader in the industry.

For over 15 years, he built his career in the electronic printing field at Comvestrix. Whaley served as a key executive and helped to take the company public under the name of Vestcom International. His roles included vice president of sales, regional sales manager and district manager. Prior to working at Comvestrix, Whaley spent two years in the office products division at Burroughs Corporation.

Whaley often appears as a guest speaker at industry events and regularly has articles published in trade magazines such as Billing & OSS World and Phone Plus. He is a member of the Rural Cellular Association (RCA), COMPTEL, the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) and is active in many other industry associations. He holds a BS in marketing from the State University of New York at Oswego.

 

Rich Hoffman

Rich Hoffman
Chief Technology Officer

Richard Hoffman is the Chief Technology Officer for OSG Billing Services. He brings over fifteen years of expertise in corporate finance and technical operations to the company.

Hoffman is responsible for the tactical planning and development of new technologies at the company. He has established innovative methods and processes at the company that continue to ensure the company’s commitment to best in class technology.

Prior to joining OSG Billing Services, Hoffman worked as manager of financial planning at the MTV Networks. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the budgeting of capital and expenses along with establishing and implementing financial strategies. Hoffman’s career history also encompasses work as a cost accountant at Atlas Air and includes an extensive background in public accounting.

Hoffman holds an MBA in finance and operations from Lehigh University, and a BA in economics from Clark University. He is an active member of Xplor International.

 
Steve Dubner

Steve Dubner
Senior Director of Marketing and Product Management

Steve Dubner is the senior director of marketing and product management for OSG Billing Services.  Dubner joined OSG Billing Services in 2000, and since then, he has been developing strategic alliances and new business opportunities. Over the past several years, he has been charged with developing and enhancing the OSG electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) product OSG eBillSM

Dubner is responsible for leading the company’s marketing and product development efforts, in addition to continuing to oversee the strategic software relationships.

Dubner came to OSG from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he was previously senior manager in a human resources outsourcing division, responsible for developing a Web-based training program for fortune 100 companies. He also spent several years with Ultimate Software and Software Plus as the manager of consulting and training services.

He holds a BS in Communications from the State University of New York at Brockport.
