As part of our vision for Human Resources, OSG is looking for a Compensation Analyst to work at our corporate headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ. In this position, you will work with all OSG companies, and become a key member of the corporate HR team. As OSG continues to grow and develop, you also will have the opportunity to learn and develop technical expertise to help support your professional growth.

What you'll do:
  • Maintain, update, and administer/support the bonus program for OSG and subsidiary companies
  • Serve as the central resource for all OSG companies regarding incentive plan design, maintenance, and administration
  • Manage salary increase program for all OSG companies including budgets, approvals, and communications
  • Act as a resource to all OSG companies regarding job descriptions, salary surveys, and comp-related data
  • Design, propose, and maintain organization processes and procedures to be used for comp-related comparisons, RFP's, and executive guidance

What you'll bring to the table:
  • 3+ years of demonstrated compensation experience in corporate environment including:
    • Performing administration/support for incentive and bonus plans
    • Creating compensation metrics, trending data, and forecasting budgets
    • Using Excel skills at an intermediate to advanced level to analyze and present data
    • Writing communications on comp-related processes/information
  • Pluses include experience working with sales incentive plans and compensation-related certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or a university program
  • Bachelor’s degree

Technical Account Specialist

WhatCounts, An OSG Company, is seeking a talented and hard-working individual to join its Technical Support team. The Technical Account Specialist is a self-motivated, quick learner who specializes in the WhatCounts’ proprietary Email and Predictive platforms. This person is responsible for day-to-day interactions with clients regarding technical issues. In addition, the Technical Account Specialist is responsible for developing positive relationships with clients, escalating issues where appropriate, and providing follow up and status updates on a regular basis as needed. After an initial training period, the Technical Account Specialist will be assigned specific clients for whom he or she will serve as the main point of contact.

What you'll do:
  • Own and effectively manage a caseload of technical support issues from multiple clients
  • Resolve inbound technical support requests
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce issues by using the WhatCounts’ Email and Predictive platforms and other internal tools as needed
  • Learn and apply knowledge of the proprietary WhatCounts’ Email and Predictive platforms
  • Escalate technical support issues to the WhatCounts’ DevOps and Development teams as needed
  • Log case interactions in Zendesk and Jira – the ticketing and case tracking programs used by WhatCounts
  • Communicate regularly with clients on the status of case resolution
  • Field critical support requests from our low activity 24/7 OnCall system

What you'll bring to the table:

2+ years of demonstrated experience providing technical support for software or web-based products, including:

  • Regular follow-up communication with clients on status updates

UI Software Architect

We drive successful email marketing programs by delivering a robust lifecycle marketing platform that can be deployed as a SaaS (software-as-a-service), a Broadcaster (appliance in a remote data center), or as a Managed Service (a dedicated system in our data centers). We have partnered with many of the world’s leading organizations including Costco, Fox News, and Navy Federal Credit Union.

Our Agency team designs, builds, optimizes, tests, deploys, and monitors millions of targeted email marketing programs through a full-service framework, allowing our clients to outsource the entire process. WhatCounts is seeking a UI Software Architect to guide and mentor the development team and own all front-end architecture as we bring multiple applications together.

What you'll do:
  • Advise stakeholders on front-end strategy, framework selection, and emerging technology
  • Lead a team of front-end developers in successful executions of software engagements
  • Contribute to the development of our internal tools and reusable architecture
  • Help move our design, development, and delivery processes into the next generation
  • Use front-end frameworks such as: React, Angular, Ember, Vue, etc.
  • Integrate with REST APIs or other back-end frameworks
  • Accurately estimate upcoming work and deliver reliably
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Ensure new features are built in a compatible, maintainable and usable fashion
  • Triage and fix bugs as they occur
  • Work on client-facing front end projects on an occasional basis
  • Partner with product and other engineering leaders to continually improve development processes

What you'll bring to the table:

Preferably, 10+ years' experience performing principal roles including demonstrated experience in:

  • Using JavaScript at an advanced level with one or more front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Ember, Vue, etc.
  • Using HTML at an advanced level including semantics, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Using CSS, including preprocessors, naming methodologies such as BEM, and techniques for scaling CSS on large projects
  • Creating code optimized for production, via JS minification, “tree shaking” dependencies, image compression, etc.
  • Collaborating with the team across various disciplines: UX, design, tech, business, QA, etc.
  • Planning and estimating complex software application projects
  • Designing and implementing complex frontend workflows
  • Working with JavaScript to build tools like Webpack and the npm ecosystem
  • Working with source control at a basic level: Git, SVN, etc.
  • Acting as scrum leader for a team of developers
  • Executing projects in Agile including Scrum and Kanban
  • Using React at an intermediate/advanced level

Nice to haves:
  • Strong familiarity with advanced React concepts like Context, Render Props and Hooks
  • Experience with Angular.js
  • Experience writing automated tests for JavaScript code
  • Experience with libraries and tools in our stack (React Router, lodash, webpack, babel, Jest, Storybook)
  • Back-end development experience in Node or Java is helpful
  • Experience with front-end build tools: Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, or JSPM
